Peter is a physician who since 2008, has held a series of senior roles in the European Medicines Agency (EMA), where he currently leads the EMA鈥檚 and plays a key role in transforming to data-driven medicines regulation and strengthening clinical evidence for decision-making on medicines. He is Chair of EMA鈥檚 Data Board, Co-Chair of the Network Data Steering Group and has responsibility for the (ACT-EU) and programmes.
Having trained in the UK and held a series of clinical roles within the NHS, before becoming a medicines regulatory at national, EU and international levels. Peter continues to have a strong engagement with the UK including in his position as honorary Professor at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. Peter also has strong links to the wider 51爆料网 community, particularly those involved in the (EHDEN) and DARWIN programmes.
